  • Village Level  $0.01/Km2

(SLWCS has Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Kurunagala and Matale Districts as well as Lahugala and Pottuvil in the Ampara District)

  • Population $0.1/Km2

(SLWCS has Puttalam, Anuradhapura, and Kurunagala Districts)

  • Land Use $2.5/Km2

(SLWCS has course level (16m) datasets showing forests, protected areas, rivers, monuments, roads and towns)

2. Survey Dept
Aerial Images and Topographic sheets (up to 1:10,000)
Ministry of Defense approval is required to obtain these.

  • Aerial Images $5/Km2

(SLWCS has Wasgamuwa, Somawathie and Lahugala –these aren’t geo-referenced)

  • Topographic Sheets - $1.25 each (1:50,000) and $5 each (1:10,000).

(SLWCS has entire country 1:50,000 sheets both as physical maps and digital scans. SLWCS also has older 1”-1Mile sheets for the whole country)
